Bilingual Loan Collection Associate

First National Bank Texas is seeking a Bilingual Loan Collection Associate to support customers in managing and resolving past-due consumer loan accounts. In this role, you will make outbound and receive inbound collection calls in English and Spanish, negotiate payment arrangements, and document all activity in our loan systems. You will review account histories, explain repayment options, and follow federal and state collection regulations while maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach. Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone and other channels to resolve past-due loan accounts in English and Spanish

• Negotiate payment arrangements and set up repayment plans within established guidelines

• Review and analyze customer account histories to determine appropriate collection strategies

• Accurately document all collection activities and customer interactions in loan servicing systems

• Educate customers on payment options, due dates, and potential consequences of non-payment

• Adhere to FDCPA and applicable state and federal collections regulations and bank policies

• Escalate complex or high-risk accounts to supervisors or loss mitigation teams as needed

• Collaborate with branch and lending staff to support customer retention and account recovery goals
