BI Developer

As a BI Developer in Milton Keynes, you'll play a key role in the analytics team, helping to design and maintain business intelligence solutions that support decision-making across the organisation. This role is all about turning data into actionable insights to help the business in the industrial and manufacturing sector run more efficiently.

This company operates in the industrial and manufacturing sector and is based in Milton Keynes. They operate on a 5-day onsite basis

Description

• Develop and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, reports and visualisations to support business decision-making.

• Design and build data models that underpin reporting and analytics solutions.

• Support the migration and development of solutions within Qlik Cloud .

• Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures and views to manage and retrieve business data.

• Perform ETL activities , extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple systems.

• Ensure data quality by maintaining data accuracy, consistency and integrity across reporting platforms.

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Provide user support, training and documentation while continuously improving reporting capabilities and self-service analytics.

Profile

A successful BI Developer should have:

• At least 2 years' experience in a BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar Business Intelligence role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense and dashboard development.

• Excellent SQL development skills , including writing complex queries and working with databases.

• Good understanding of data modelling and relational database concepts.

• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders.

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Confident communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Desirable experience with Qlik Cloud, ETL processes, Azure, SQL Server, data warehousing, ERP systems , or manufacturing environments.

Job Offer

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.

• Standard benefits package.
