A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to lead audit assignments and prepare accounts across a broad client base.

Working across both disciplines gives well rounded practical experience at this stage of a career. Leeds has a thriving and diverse commercial community, and the firm's client base reflects that, offering breadth across sectors and business sizes. What's the day to day of the role:

• Leading audit assignments from planning to completion across a varied portfolio

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

• Acting as a reliable point of contact for clients and handling queries confidently

• Supervising junior members of the team on both audit and accounts assignments

• Assisting managers and partners on more complex assignments and technical matters Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified

• At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment

• Proven experience leading audit assignments and preparing accounts across client types

• Good working knowledge of UK auditing standards and software such as Xero or Sage

• Professional client facing manner, well organised, with the ambition to progress in practice Benefits:
