Associate Director, Commercial Learning and Development - Biopharma

CSL seeks an Associate Director, Commercial Learning & Development to lead capability-building for our commercial teams in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will design and execute learning strategies that enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and launch readiness across sales, marketing, and market access. You will assess capability gaps, develop blended learning programs, and measure impact using data and KPIs. Partnering closely with cross functional leaders, you'll ensure training aligns with business priorities and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion. Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of commercial learning and development strategy for CSL's biopharma portfolio

• Assess capability gaps across sales, marketing, and market access teams and translate needs into scalable learning solutions

• Develop curricula, digital learning, and workshops to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, and launch readiness

• Partner with commercial and medical leaders to align learning programs with business priorities and product strategy

• Measure training effectiveness using data, KPIs, and feedback; continuously optimize programs for impact

• Oversee vendors, budgets, and project timelines to deliver high quality learning experiences on schedule

• Ensure training content meets compliance, regulatory, and medical/legal standards in biotech and pharma

• Coach and develop a small L&D team or matrixed resources to deliver best in class support

• Collaborate globally to share best practices and harmonize commercial capability frameworks

• Champion a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, and high performance across commercial teams Required Skills
