Assistant Finance Officer

This is an excellentopportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a varied rolewithin a supportive environment, contributing to the day-to-day operations of abusy finance function.

Your new role

Reporting into theFinance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Daily posting and processing of invoices

• Managing payment runs

• Bank reconciliations

• Accruals and prepayments

• Journal postings

• Handling supplier queries

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Supporting debtors and creditors processes

• Assisting with general finance administration and reporting requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful inthis role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a finance or accounts function

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations

• Experience processing journals, accruals and prepayments

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience within a Housing Association environment would be advantageous, but is not essential What you'll get in return
