Accounts Semi Senior - Carlisle, Cumbria £24,000 - £32,000 + Study Support + Benefits Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Carlisle .

This role would suit an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Semi Senior or AAT qualified accountant looking to develop their career within practice.

You'll work with a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies , gaining experience across accounts, tax, VAT and bookkeeping.

The Role

• Preparing year-end accounts

• Assisting with VAT returns

• Bookkeeping and general accounting work

• Supporting management accounts

• Dealing with client queries

• Using Xero, QuickBooks and Sage

• Supporting senior members of the team About You

• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA

• Previous UK accountancy practice experience

• Good accounts preparation skills

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Experience with cloud accounting software What's on Offer
