Accountant

Sightpath Medical, a leader in mobile ophthalmic surgical services, seeks an Accountant to support accurate, timely financial operations. In this role, you will manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close. You will prepare financial statements, assist with budgets and forecasts, and analyze revenue and costs for mobile cataract and refractive services. Partner closely with clinical and field teams to provide clear financial insights that support reliability, clinical excellence, and patient-focused care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, and general ledger entries

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operations

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and regulatory reporting

• Analyze revenue, cost, and profitability for mobile surgical services

• Collaborate with operations and field teams on financial insights

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency Required Skills
