    Business Development Manager Power Electronics Location: Reading (hybrid) Salary: Up to £60,000, OTE £80,000+ (Year 1), £100,000+ (year 2) Car: Company car or car allowance Industry: Electronics / Power Solutions Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with experience in electronics, ideally within power electronics? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation delivering both standard and bespoke power solutions across a wide range of industries. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical understanding of electronic components, particularly power supplies, DC/DC converters or similar, who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving business growth. The Role As Business Development Manager, you ll be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK and beyond. You ll act as a trusted partner to customers, offering technical and commercial support to deliver tailored solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on electronic design, problem solving, and contributing to the full lifecycle of high performance hardware products.     Senior Embedded Software Engineer Embedded C/C++ Merseyside £55k £65k Hybrid Senior Embedded Software Engineer wanted for an established embedded electronics business in the North West. Embedded C / C++, CAN bus, 32-bit microcontrollers, and real vehicles to prove your code in. Commutable from Liverpool, Chester, Warrington and across Cheshire and Merseyside. They build intelligent systems that go into specialist vehicles. Real kit, in real vehicles, doing a real job. And that's the tone of the role: bench, lab and vehicle work, not always at a desk and a backlog. You'd be the senior firmware presence in the R&D team. Leading the build from architecture through to proving it works in the vehicle itself. Setting the quality bar. Bringing the less experienced developers on. The engineer they're after - Substantial years of commercial embedded firmware development in C / C++ on 32-bit microcontrollers with a history of leading delivery on tricky products. - Solid vehicle-bus background. CAN bus, LIN or similar is essential, and the deeper the better: bus design, message architecture, diagnostics, and the tooling to troubleshoot it (CANalyzer, PCAN, BusMaster or equivalent). - Actually happy in a vehicle. Harnesses, wiring, in-vehicle debugging, commissioning. - Strong real-time embedded fundamentals: RTOS, interrupts, low-level drivers, and the usual protocols (SPI, I2C, UART). - Confident reading schematics and working shoulder to shoulder with hardware engineers. Additional experience of interest CAN-FD, J1939, UDS or ISO 26262 functional safety. Vehicle body control systems. Bootloader and OTA firmware development. The shape of it Based in the North West, commutable from Liverpool, Chester and Cheshire. Hybrid in principle, but the lab, the bench and the vehicles are on site, so plan on three days a week minimum in the building. Workshop-anchored, not remote-first.
