This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Microsoft full-stack developer to work on complex data-led platforms, helping to improve how calculation and scheme data is ingested, processed and made available for reporting and faster calculations. You will play a key role in building and enhancing solutions that support the ingestion of calculation and scheme data from Excel into a pensions platform, enabling users to access reliable data more efficiently and generate reports with greater speed and accuracy. Key responsibilities: - Design, develop and enhance full-stack .NET applications using the Microsoft technology stack. - Support the ingestion of calculation and pension scheme data from Excel into a pensions platform. - Work with complex financial data sets, ensuring accuracy, performance and reliability. - Develop functionality that enables improved reporting and faster calculation processes. - Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts and wider technology teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions. - Contribute to technical design, code quality, testing and continuous improvement across the platform. - Troubleshoot, optimise and support business-critical systems in a data-heavy environment. Essential Skills: - Strong commercial experience as a Microsoft full-stack .NET Developer. - Excellent C# and .NET development skills across front-end and back-end application delivery. - Experience working with complex data environments, ideally within pensions. - Alternatively, strong experience in complex financial services environments involving large volumes of financial data. - Good understanding of data ingestion, transformation, validation and integration processes. - Experience working with Excel-based data sources and data migration or data loading activities would be highly beneficial. - Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - A pragmatic, detail-focused approach to solving complex data and application challenges.
