The Role Working alongside an experienced sales team, you will play an important role in developing new business opportunities and building relationships with organisations that operate commercial vehicle fleets. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and developing new business opportunities across fleet, leasing, utilities, construction, civil engineering and commercial vehicle sectors. - Building relationships with potential customers through telephone, email, LinkedIn and face-to-face meetings. - Following up enquiries and converting opportunities into sales. - Understanding customer vehicle requirements and proposing suitable conversion solutions. - Managing opportunities through the sales process using the company CRM system. - Preparing quotations and supporting proposals with assistance from the wider team. - Attending customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events across the UK. - Working closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive an excellent service throughout the sales journey. About You - We are keen to hear from candidates who have gained experience within: - Commercial vehicle dealerships, fleet management, vehicle leasing, vehicle rental, vehicle conversions, automotive parts or aftersales, commercial vehicle service environments, automotive sales or account management or similar automotive related field You will also have: - A genuine interest in sales and business development. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. - Confidence when speaking with customers by phone, video call and in person. - A proactive and self-motivated approach. - Good organisational and administrative skills. - Experience using Microsoft Office applications. - A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
