    Our client is based in Edinburgh and is looking for support their payroll function. You will be required to work autonomously to manage processes whilst using initiative to ask for guidance when required. This role is the main point of contact for internal as well as external queries around pensions, employment, timesheets taxation etc. This is a fast paced role where attention to detail and accuracy are of the utmost importance. Duties will include: Prepare and input all payroll data Process payroll payments via BACS Perform monthly reconciliations Support the preparation of monthly payroll reconciliations for year-end audit Complete employment-related documentation (e.g., mortgage references, benefits forms) as required Implement pay awards and increments when required Provide payroll cost information and analysis as requested Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and oversight to maintain service standards What you will need: Experience in payroll duties Experience of operating and maintaining an ERP payroll system Experience of complex payroll administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and use initiative What you will get in return: This is an ongoing temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate. Work pattern is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and hybrid working is supported.
