    A Software Engineer with proven object-orientated software design experience will develop software for the latest radar, security and surveillance systems. You ll bring a Software Engineering related degree, C++ development skills, an understanding of real-time software design and familiarity with Scripting languages. Hybrid - Competitive salary + great benefits. Of particular interest is experience in the development of security / defence command and control software and using GIS (Geographic Information System) data. The successful Software Engineer will design and develop software across the company s radar systems, including external radar control systems and interfaces as well as bringing the ability to improve the software capabilities and enhance the user experience. Requirements for the Software Engineer include: - Technical Degree with software bias. - Modern C++ development skills (C++ 11/14/17/20) and Python or similar scripting. - Commercial software design experience. - Understanding of real-time software design & development. - Experience with Embedded Linux and embedded software development. - Experience of effective UI design.
