    The Company Our client a supplier of home textiles are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Manager to help expand our customer base and strengthen existing partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the home textiles or home furnishings industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and driving sustainable sales growth. Working closely with internal teams, you will help shape commercial strategy while representing the business to customers across multiple markets. The Role: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth objectives. Identify and secure new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, importers, distributors, and online sellers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of service and repeat business. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and product presentations through to negotiation and closing. Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations. Work closely with product development, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify new opportunities. Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to promote the business and develop new contacts. Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets, revenue, and profitability objectives. Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback to senior management. Skills Required: Proven experience within the home textiles, home furnishings, or soft furnishings industry. An established network of buyers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, and distributors. A strong track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts. Demonstrable success in achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify market opportunities. Experience working with UK and international retail markets. Knowledge of private label and own-brand product development. Experience selling through major retail groups, buying groups, or ecommerce channels.
