    An excellent opportunity has become available for a Temp Accounts Payable Assistant to start immediately working for a large multi-site business services organisation. The role is on a month to month basis to assist and support the team during a busy period. As the business is growing there is the possibility this role may even go permanent. The role: - Primary emphasis on resolution of old queries and recovery of debit balances and overpayments - Extensive supplier liaison to resolve old issues and bring accounts up to date - PO matching and deal with queries as required - Account reconciliations - Other ad hoc duties as required Requirements for the role: - Available to start immediately - Within a commutable distance to Guildford - Happy to be fully office based - Previous Accounts Payable experience including PO matching - Proven track record in Administration - Strong IT skills - Excellent communicator with the confidence to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative - Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship

    An excellent opportunity has become available for a permanent Group Accountant to join a market leading international business who have experienced year on year growth. This organisation pride themselves on low staff turnover. Based on growth plans for the next 3-5 years the company is looking to strengthen their team with a Group Accountant who will take ownership of: - Group reporting & consolidation - Budgeting, forecasting & planning - Technical accounting & projects-providing accounting support across complex areas and supporting accurate financial reporting - Tax compliance and related tasks - Systems & process improvement - Stakeholder engagement and liaison with non finance colleagues by delivering clear, concise financial insights enabling informed decision-making to ensure adherence to relevant business and systems controls - Audits-assist with statutory reporting and end to end audit process by resolving technical accounting issues and to meet reporting deadlines Skills and experience required: - Fully Qualified Accountant or QBE with a strong interest in reporting and technical accounting - Proven track record in company reporting, consolidation and internal financial controls - Ability to improve processes as well and interrogate and interpret data - Proactive with the ability to influence decision making and build and maintain relationships internally and externally - Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes at a group level - Exposure to corporation tax and UK tax compliance requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines using own initiative as well as working as part of a team - Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Additional information: - The role is office based in Woking a minimum of 3 days per week - Due to where the offices are based, you will need to drive as the site is not accessible using public transport - Only candidates with full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship will be considered - Interviews will take place the first week of August

    Finance Manager/No2 in Finance Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking for a broad role where you can genuinely influence the direction of a growing manufacturing business? What's on Offer - £75,000 - £80,000 - Hybrid working - Broad, varied Finance Manager position - International group environment - High level of exposure to senior leadership - Opportunity to influence systems, processes and future growth I'm working exclusively with an international manufacturing organisation seeking a qualified Finance Manager/Financial Controller to partner closely with the UK&I Head of Finance and leadership team. This is a varied role offering exposure across financial control, commercial finance, operations and team leadership. The Opportunity This is far more than a traditional month-end reporting role. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst acting as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight to support business performance and continuous improvement. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and mentor a finance team while driving process improvements across systems, reporting and financial controls, whilst also sit as part of the leadership team. Key Responsibilities - Lead the month-end close and management reporting process - Produce budgets, forecasts and cashflow forecasts - Business partner operational managers, supporting margin analysis, costing and commercial decision making - Take ownership of stock accounting, product costing and inventory controls - Manage year-end audit and statutory reporting - Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls - Support group reporting and intercompany accounting - Drive finance process improvements and systems enhancements - Lead, mentor and develop the finance team of 2 About You You'll be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with at least 3 years' post-qualified experience and ideally come from a manufacturing, FMCG, food or other stock-led environment. You'll enjoy operating in a hands-on role and be comfortable balancing technical finance with commercial business partnering. Experience in the following would be highly advantageous: - Manufacturing or stock accounting - Costing and margin analysis - Team leadership - Budgeting and forecasting - ERP systems (Sage 200 experience beneficial but not essential) - Group reporting Above all, we're looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, building relationships and making a genuine impact on the wider business.
