    I am currently recruiting for an ACCA qualified Accountant for a Building Contractor based in East London who work in and around the London and the M25 area with a current turnover of 70 million. Projects include new build, refurbishment & fit out works within commercial, healthcare, education and residential on projects ranging between 2 to 10 million. The accountant will work with the accountancy team and report to the Managing Director by assisting with day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the smooth running of the company's financial activities. Key Responsibilities: The candidate must have experience in the below - Proven experience in an accounting or finance assistant role, preferably within the construction industry. - Double Entry experience - Payroll - Able to do Sub contractor payments - Vat Returns - Credit Card & Bank Reconciliation - IR35 - CIS - Debtors and Creditors - Familiarity with accounting software Sage 50 - Must be able to produce accounts up to Trial Balance Skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. - Good understanding of accounting principles. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Requirements: - Knowledge of construction industry financial practices and project-based accounting is a plus. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). The client is looking to pay up a competitive basic salary plus a benefits package with the position looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.     HR Admin Manager North London Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) 44.71 per hour (Umbrella) 2-3 Month Contract Potential to Extend We're recruiting for an experienced HR Administration Manager to join a leading Housing Association in North London on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong HR operations professional with proven leadership experience to manage a small team and drive an efficient, compliant and customer-focused HR administration service. Housing sector experience is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates who have worked within large, complex organisations of 500+ employees and have experience managing HR administration teams. The Role Reporting to the HR Operations Lead, you'll oversee the delivery of a high-quality HR administration and compliance function, ensuring accurate people data, efficient processes and an excellent employee experience. You'll lead a team of two HR professionals while working closely with colleagues across HR and the wider organisation. Key Responsibilities - Lead, motivate and develop a team of 2 HR Administrators, ensuring a high-performing, customer-focused service. - Manage end-to-end HR administration processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and service excellence. - Oversee HR systems and employee data, maintaining data integrity and supporting workforce reporting. - Ensure timely and accurate payroll administration, including monthly payroll changes and annual pay reviews. - Manage HR compliance processes including Right to Work, DBS, GDPR, Subject Access Requests and other statutory requirements. - Support organisational change projects, including restructures and TUPE activity. - Monitor service performance, produce management reports and identify trends. - Drive continuous improvement by reviewing, simplifying and automating HR processes. - Work with HR systems teams to maximise HRIS functionality and improve data quality. - Support audits, governance activities and the ongoing development of HR policies and procedures. About You We're looking for someone who has: - Significant experience working within an HR Operations or HR Administration environment. - Previous people management experience, including coaching and developing team members. - Experience working within a large organisation of 500+ employees . - Experience managing HR administration, compliance and payroll-related processes. - A proactive approach to process improvement and service delivery. - Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
