The Role As the People & Culture Advisor/Business Partner you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR activities while partnering with managers across the business to provide practical, commercial and people-focused support. Key responsibilities include: - Managing end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding new employees. - Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and associated HR documentation. - Coordinating payroll and maintaining accurate employee records. - Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. - Managing employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance processes. - Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice. - Coordinating learning and development activities. - Reviewing, improving and modernising HR processes, policies and procedures. - Using AI and technology to streamline administrative tasks and improve efficiency across the People function. - Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and helping to foster a positive and inclusive culture. - Producing HR reports and supporting wider People initiatives as the business continues to grow. About You The successful People & Culture Advisor/Business Partner will have: - A minimum of 3 years' experience in a broad HR Generalist or People & Culture role. - A genuine passion for people and culture, with a proactive and positive approach to supporting employees. - Experience supporting recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening and managing recruitment campaigns not simply interview coordination. - Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. - A builder mentality rather than an administrator mentality someone who enjoys improving processes and asking, "How can we make sure we never have to do this manually again?" - Be genuinely AI-native , using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow to improve productivity, efficiency and the employee experience. - Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. - Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to build credibility and work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the business. - The ability to work independently while thriving in a standalone HR environment. - A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership of the People function. - CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (preferred).
