This role serves as the primary administrator for Dayforce and partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Operations, IT, Engineering and executive leadership to optimize HR processes, improve data integrity, and leverage technology to enhance the employee experience. As the organization continues to grow and scale, this role will be instrumental in building a modern, technology-enabled HR function capable of supporting future expansion. The Manager, HR Technology & People Analytics will identify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, improve workforce analytics, and implement scalable solutions that enable HR to operate more efficiently while delivering exceptional service to employees and leaders. Skills & Knowledge - Excellent knowledge of Dayforce HCM, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, and Reporting modules, with an emphasis on configuration and administration. - Strong understanding of HRIS administration, system configuration, workflow set up, and HR business process improvement with Dayforce and related SaaS tools. - Experience developing dashboards, workforce analytics, and executive reporting that support data-driven decision making. - Strong analytical and problemsolving skills focused on interpreting workforce data and surfacing trends, while collaborating with jr/sr data engineers for complex data modeling and integrations. - Experience managing HR technology projects, system enhancements, and integrations in partnership with IT and data engineering (e.g., Dayforce Snowflake, Dayforce Netsuite, Dayforce Therap, following established integration patterns. - Working knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development processes. - Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to automate manual HR/Payroll workflows using Dayforce and workflow tools, escalating dataheavy solutions to the engineering or data team when needed. - Strong understanding of data governance, data integrity, system security, and user access management. - Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides; experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is preferred. - Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate HRIS configuration and reporting concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences - Customer service mindset with a focus on partnering across HR, Payroll, and Operations to improve Dayforce usability and adoption. - High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidential employee data. Essential Duties & Responsibilities HR Technology Leadership - Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Dayforce. - Configure, maintain, and optimize HR technology solutions to support business needs. - Develop and execute the HR technology roadmap in partnership with HR, IT, and Executive leadership. - Evaluate emerging HR technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and scalability. Process Improvement & Automation - Identify opportunities to automate manual HR and Payroll processes. - Design and implement workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce administrative burden. - Partner with HR Operations and Payroll to streamline business processes and eliminate redundant work. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and operational excellence. - Support system implementations, enhancements, and future acquisitions. People Analytics & Reporting - Build and maintain reports supporting turnover, recruiting, engagement, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning. - Analyze workforce data and provide actionable recommendations to HR leadership. - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of employee data. Cross-Functional Partnership - Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Operations, Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and IT to improve system functionality and business processes. - Serve as the HR technology subject matter expert for organizational initiatives. - Coordinate with vendors to support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. System Administration & Support - Manage system configuration, security roles, user access, and workflow approvals. - Coordinate testing, upgrades, and implementation of new Dayforce functionality. - Develop system documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures. - Provide end-user support and training to HR, managers, and business leaders. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of progressive HRIS experience. - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Dayforce administration experience required. - Demonstrated experience configuring and optimizing Dayforce modules, including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, and Reporting. - Experience developing dashboards, workforce analytics, and executive reporting. - Experience implementing workflow automation and business process improvements. - Strong understanding of HR systems, payroll processes, employee lifecycle management, and HR compliance. - Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or organizational growth initiatives preferred. - Experience working in a multi-state organization preferred. - Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting tools preferred. - Dayforce certifications or related HR technology certifications preferred. - Successful completion of background and reference checks. SUMMARY SAILS Washington Vocational Services are furnished to people with disabilities under the supervision of a qualified individual with appropriate training and background. Time will be spent with a caseload of both, Community Inclusion and Individual Employment clients, giving support in the client's volunteer or work activities. Additional time will be spent documenting the activities, communicating with the Vocational Services Program Coordinator and completing other tasks as assigned by the Vocational Services Program Coordinator and Director. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND STANDARDS - Will support a case load of clients qualifying for Vocational and Community Inclusion services. - Assists employers when needed in identifying, setting up and facilitating jobs for clients. - Assists to identify clients' job interests. - Provides job coaching and promotes career development support to improve job skills. - Promotes and facilitates social integration between clients and other employees in collaboration with supervisors/managers. - Provides career counseling as well as behavioral intervention for clients to enhance job performance and relationships with co-workers and customers. - After 1:1 training is provided by the Program Manager or Director on Dayforce and Setworks, a proficient understanding of use must be shown within 90 days of hire. - Maintain daily case notes and make sure time entered in Setwork matches time entered into Dayforce. - Maintains a built out SetWorks completed schedule of a minimum of 2 weeks, reviewed by Program Coordinator and Vocational Services Director. Due no later than the 1st of each month for the 16th-30th/31st and the 15th for the 1st-15th of the following month. - Maintains excellent communication with company managers, supervisors and employees to support positive outcomes and to resolve client performance problems or issues. - Teaches work to clients at job sites using simple and repetitious training methods. - Monitors client activity to ensure productivity, and completion of work assignments, and quality outcomes. - Educate and assist clients with company policies and procedures. - Regularly reports to Vocational Services Program Coordinator and Vocational Services Director to discuss clients' progress and any training concerns. - Communicates with Vocational Services Program Coordinator, Vocational Services Director, care providers, and parents as appropriate, regarding any issues that may affect a client's employment. - Communicates any concerns or updates to the provider and guardian of the clients. - Participate in the client's planning team to develop goals, objectives, and natural support. - Attend client PCSP meetings. - Becomes familiar with the needs and limitations of assigned clients to ensure appropriateness. accommodations and effective client supervision. - Notifies Program Coordinator and Vocational Services Director immediately of any problems with clients or employers to resolve issues in a timely manner and follow all mandatory reporting guidelines. - Work with the Program Coordinator in preparing daily/weekly scheduled job duties for clients to ensure success. - Documentation of client activities, progress, and support is required to be emailed weekly. - Maintains general upkeep and maintenance of client files, goals, and sends reports to funding contacts as outlined in contract. - Maintain regular and accurate mileage entries via company mileage app. - Promotes vocational services in compliance with agency philosophy, policies and procedures, and in accordance with State licensing laws and regulations. - Emphasizes good work ethics and appropriate performance in employment. - Works with, and acts as a good example for clients at all times. - Performs other tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred. - Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, home staff, and administrative staff. - Demonstrates self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills, flexibility and meeting deadlines. - Ability to read, write and communicate in English. - Proficiency in the use of computers. - Completes and stays current on all SAILS training, certifications, documents and paperwork. LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: - Valid and Active Washington Driver License - Must pass a Washington State background check - First Aid/CPR Certified (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided) - Blood Borne Pathogen (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided) ONGOING ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: - Complete and pass the background check screening upon hire and every two years thereafter, or as requested. - Must have a vehicle with current auto insurance. - Must have an acceptable driving record per SAILS Washington policy.
