    A client of ours near South Woodham Ferrers, Essex are recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a part-time temporary position working 2 longer days or 3 shorter days per week (16 hours) for the Autumn Term September - December, paying 13.50 per hour. Due to the location, you must be a driver as the site is not accessible via public transport. Your key duties in this Temporary Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to: - Processing supplier invoices and credit card statements accurately. - Cost coding and nominal coding of supplier invoices. - Using purchase ordering and stock systems to verify supplier invoices. - Handle the preparation of monthly management accounts. - Assisting with year-end accounting processes. - Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage software. - Providing general accounting and finance assistance as required. Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role: - Experience using Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll, Sage AutoEntry. - Good understanding of nominal ledger codes and cost coding. - Experience with purchase ordering and stock control systems. - Strong spreadsheet skills, including Microsoft Excel. - Ability to assist with management accounts preparation. - Flexible and willing to undertake ad hoc finance and accounting tasks.     A client of ours near the Maldon area is recruiting a Temporary HR Officer to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (part-time hours will also be considered), starting Monday 10th August for an initial 3-week assignment . The role is paying 17.00 - 20.00 per hour , depending on experience. Your key duties in this HR Officer role will include but are not limited to: - Providing generalist HR support across recruitment, employee relations, payroll and HR administration. - Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding and maintaining accurate HR records. - Supporting managers with HR queries, policies, procedures and employment legislation. - Assisting with payroll administration and ensuring HRIS data is accurate and up to date. - Supporting training, compliance, HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills and experience required to be considered for this role: - Previous HR Generalist experience within a busy HR team. - CIPD Level 3 preferred. - Experience managing recruitment processes. - Strong organisational, communication and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. - Payroll experience or HR systems knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.     A client of ours is recruiting an HR Director to join their team. This is a temporary 3-month position working Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with a start date at the end of August. The role is paying a competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience. This position will be working across two sites, based in Benfleet and Grays. Your key duties in this HR Manager role will include but are not limited to: - Leading the HR function across the College, providing strategic and operational leadership. - Working closely with the College Principal, Senior Management Team and Governing Board to deliver the College's people strategy. - Developing and implementing workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement initiatives. - Leading organisational change programmes and supporting the College through transformation projects. - Managing recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain high-quality staff. - Providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, absence management and Employment Tribunals. - Developing reward, recognition and performance management frameworks to support a high-performance culture. - Managing and developing the HR team, ensuring an effective and proactive HR service. - Building strong relationships with trade unions and external stakeholders. - Using workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and support strategic decision-making. - Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding, PREVENT responsibilities and HR best practice. Skills and experience required to be considered for this role: - CIPD Level 7 qualified with MCIPD or FCIPD preferred. - Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as an HR Manager, Head of HR or HR Director . - Proven track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives, organisational development and change management. - Extensive experience managing complex employee relations issues and advising senior leaders. - Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. - Experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams. - Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Board level. - Experience within Further Education, Higher Education, the Public Sector or another large, complex organisation would be highly desirable. - Experience of working with trade unions and supporting Ofsted inspections is advantageous.
