    The opportunity - Role: Digital Developer (Frontend) - Project: Public sector / government digital services - Location: Exeter - typically 1-2 days per week on site - Duration: Initial 6-month contract - Rate: Around £600/day (Umbrella) - IR35: In scope - Security: SC cleared or SC eligible (for a government agency) What you'll be working on - Developing responsive, accessible UIs using Next.js, React, TypeScript - Collaborating with design and product teams to create intuitive, user-centred experiences - Building frontends that integrate with internal APIs and search indexes - Taking part in code reviews, testing, debugging and continuous improvements - Maintaining and enhancing existing applications, diagnosing and resolving issues - Contributing to technical documentation and helping shape project requirements - Implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Tech stack & skills - Strong experience as a Frontend Developer - Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript plus React and Next.js - Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling - Familiarity with Elasticsearch and SQL-like databases - Good understanding of Git and collaborative workflows - Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and deployment strategies - Comfortable working in an Agile , cross-functional team Nice to have - Experience with PyGeoAPI or GIS-related work - Experience with Jira and Confluence This is a good fit if you like owning the full lifecycle of frontend features, care about UX/UI, and want to contribute to highly visible services in the public sector .

    We're supporting a high-profile UK Government digital programme and are looking for Senior Python Developers and Technical Leads with strong Python & Django expertise to join a multidisciplinary agile team delivering secure, user-focused digital services. The Role You'll play a key role in designing, developing and supporting scalable backend services used within a secure government environment. Technical Leads will also provide technical guidance, mentor engineers and help shape architecture and engineering best practices while remaining hands-on.     We're looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead and develop a Security Operations capability within a high-profile public sector environment. This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in cyber security operations, incident response, and SOC service delivery. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage an established Security Operations Centre (SOC) - Develop and deliver the SOC strategy and operational roadmap - Oversee incident management and security monitoring capabilities - Drive threat intelligence and cyber threat assessment activities - Manage cyber security tools and operational technologies - Build and maintain relationships with MSSPs, vendors, and technology partners - Effectively plan and deploy resources to meet business objectives Essential Skills & Experience - Proven experience as a SOC Manager (applications from SOC Analysts will not be considered) - Strong leadership and people management experience - In-depth knowledge of incident management processes - Experience delivering effective security monitoring and threat intelligence capabilities - Hands-on experience managing cyber security tools and technologies - Experience working with external vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) Desirable - CISSP, CISM or equivalent cyber security certification - Cloud security experience (AWS and/or Azure) - ITIL Foundation or equivalent Details - Remote (occasional travel may be required) - Up to £850/day (Umbrella) - Active SC Clearance is essential - applicants must already hold valid SC clearance to be considered.
