    Senior Compliance Manager We are currently partnering with a large, well-established food retail business with an international presence. With quality, food safety and customer trust at the heart of its operation, the business continues to grow across multiple markets and is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join the team. Operating within a fast-paced and complex food environment, this is an opportunity to join a business where technical standards and compliance play a key role in supporting both its franchise network and continued international growth. The Role As Senior Compliance Manager, you will take responsibility for maintaining and strengthening food safety, quality and technical compliance standards across the international franchise operation. A key part of the role will be creating greater consistency across different markets, strengthening processes and driving continuous improvement while protecting product quality and brand reputation. Main Responsibilities - Lead technical compliance across the international franchise network, ensuring consistent food safety, quality and legal standards. - Work closely with franchise partners and suppliers to identify and resolve technical, compliance and supply chain challenges. - Support the management and development of the supply base, ensuring suppliers continue to meet required technical and quality standards. - Review and strengthen compliance processes and controls, identifying risks and implementing practical improvements. - Drive continuous improvement across international markets, supporting greater consistency in technical standards, product quality and compliance. Required - Extensive experience within food technical or compliance roles, ideally gained within food manufacturing, food retail or foodservice. - Strong knowledge of food safety, technical compliance and quality assurance. - Experience working with suppliers and managing technical standards across a complex supply chain. Responsibilities include: Time and Attendance Administration - Maintain accurate Time and Attendance records within the system to support payroll accuracy and deadlines. - Review, check, and update timesheets to ensure hours, absences, and attendance data are correct. - Ensure all working time information is fully reconciled ahead of payroll cut off. - Process corrections, adjustments, and deductions where required. - Investigate and resolve timesheet discrepancies, escalating where necessary to ensure accurate pay outcomes. - Support managers and supervisors with queries relating to hours worked and attendance. - Monitor compliance with working time regulations and internal policies. - Produce reports on hours worked, attendance trends, and wider labour data. - Support workforce planning through accurate reporting and analysis of T&A information. HR and Workforce Administration - Act as a first point of contact for workers, visitors, deliveries, and general enquiries. - Support recruitment activity including interview coordination and candidate communication. - Carry out inductions and ensure onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time via the onboarding system. - Complete Right to Work checks in line with legal and company requirements. - Prepare induction packs and onboarding materials for new starters. - Provide day to day employee welfare support, including help with GP visits, bank appointments, National Insurance queries, and on site support where needed. - Support the preparation of disciplinary and HR documentation when required. - Order PPE, stationery, and site refreshments to support operational needs. - Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems. - Produce workforce reports including returnee tracking and labour provider reporting. - Support wider HR projects, reporting, and general admin tasks as required. Health and Safety - Ensure all duties are carried out in line with Health and Safety policies and procedures. - Maintain awareness of risk assessments and safe working practices. - Promote a strong near miss reporting culture across site.
