Financial Planner / Adviser Albrighton, Wolverhampton Hybrid and flexible working £30,000 to £40,000 plus uncapped bonus and benefits MBF are currently working with a growing Financial Planning business in Albrighton to recruit a Financial Planner. This opportunity could suit either a newly qualified Adviser looking to achieve CAS, or someone in the earlier stages of their advisory career who wants greater access to clients and opportunities. The company may also consider a slightly more experienced Adviser with a small number of existing client relationships. For the right person, there is flexibility to offer a higher starting salary. The opportunity You will work closely with the firm's Directors and existing Advisers, initially helping to look after and develop relationships with existing clients. The business generates a healthy flow of opportunities through its own marketing, lead generation and corporate client relationships. You will therefore have several routes through which to build your client bank: - Existing clients passed across by established Advisers - New enquiries generated through the company's marketing - Introductions from lead-generation activity - Opportunities to speak with members of the firm's corporate schemes - Referrals and relationships developed through your own clients There should be enough existing work to keep you busy while you develop your confidence and advisory skills, alongside genuine scope to generate new business and build a successful client bank. You will have access to an established administration team, in-house paraplanning support and outsourced paraplanning when required. This will allow you to concentrate on developing client relationships and providing advice. Earnings potential The company offers an attractive and achievable validation structure, allowing Advisers to begin earning bonus relatively quickly. As an example, an Adviser earning £30,000 would receive 30% of business generated above £1,000 per month. If they generated £100,000 of business over the year: - Basic salary: £30,000 - Business above annual validation: £88,000 - Bonus at 30%: £26,400 - Total earnings: £56,400 For someone joining on a higher salary, the validation point would be adjusted accordingly, with 30% payable above it. The scheme is uncapped and offers excellent longer-term earning potential. About you The company is open-minded about the precise level of experience but is particularly interested in people who are: - Level 4 qualified or approaching completion of the Diploma - Newly qualified and looking for their first advisory opportunity - Already advising but still in the early stages of building their career - Comfortable developing new client relationships and generating business - Professional, motivated and focused on providing a good client experience - Keen to learn from experienced Advisers while gradually developing greater independence Previous exposure to pensions and investments would be beneficial. Candidates who are not yet CAS may be considered, provided they have the qualifications, attitude and potential to develop into the role. The company The team currently consists of the Managing Director, two Operations Directors, five Financial Advisers and eight employees working across administration and other support functions. It is an established and supportive environment in which a developing Adviser can gain experience without being left to find every opportunity themselves. Package - Basic salary of approximately £30,000 to £40,000, potentially higher for an Adviser bringing some client relationships - Uncapped bonus at 30% above an agreed validation level - Flexible, naturally hybrid working - Part-time working may also be considered - 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays - Private medical insurance - Healthcare cash plan - Six times salary life assurance - 5% employer pension contribution with 3% employee contribution - Administration and paraplanning support - Ongoing development and mentoring
