About the role This is a specialist role within HMLR's IT Operations Practice, working as part of an established Security function responsible for protecting systems, platforms and services across a varied technology estate. You will help design, implement and improve technical security controls across cloud, on-premise and legacy environments. The role will involve resolving complex technical issues, managing security risks, improving vulnerability tooling and providing security advice to operational and project teams. About the role You will join a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, architects, platform specialists, infrastructure engineers and delivery professionals. The role covers the full software development lifecycle, from technical design and development through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement. Golang is of particular interest, although strong engineers with experience in Java, C#, C++, Rust or Python will also be considered where they can confidently discuss the differences between technologies and how systems written in different languages integrate. This is a customer-facing position, so you should be comfortable working directly with stakeholders as well as contributing technically.
