We re now looking for a talented and highly organised Payroll Coordinator to join and play a vital role in supporting our business. What you ll be Doing We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator ? to assist and work alongside the team and Payroll Manager with the smooth running of the Payroll Department. While the most important task for a payroll team is ensuring that all employees are paid on time and with the correct amount, there are also other important duties which must be performed. This includes the distribution of many important forms and reports, many of which are essential for tax purposes. Key Responsibilities: - Working within a busy payroll team - Is able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads in order to reach the payroll turnaround. - Working closely with the current outsourced provider (iTrent) to ensure a prompt and efficient payroll and pension service ensuring compliance with legislation and reporting requirements. - Including checking the administration of starters, leavers, for both payroll and pensions, along with any other adhoc administrative tasks. - Submitting ALL Pension on a monthly basis in a timely manner, compliant to the relevant legislation and delivered in accordance with strict deadlines, along with communication with Pension stakeholders. The Learning & Development (L&D) Administrator plays a key role in supporting the coordination, delivery, and administration of learning initiatives across IFG. The role ensures employees have support to access to high-quality development opportunities that align with business objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Learning Programme Coordination - Support the planning, scheduling, delivery, and evaluation of training programmes, workshops, and learning activities. - Assist with updating training calendars, course bookings and attendance tracking - Respond to training-related queries via the L&D inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses. - Ensure call to the L&D line are answered in a timely manner Apprenticeship Support - Process and confirm apprenticeship approvals where required. - Assist in maintaining accurate apprenticeship data. - Support the team with Apprenticeship completion process, ensuring timely delivery on completion certificates. - Coordinate the ordering of apprenticeship resources and materials, ensuring they are prepared and distributed in advance of learners' first workshop. Skills & Experience - Experience working within a Learning & Development or HR environment. - Strong organisational and coordination skills with high attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Experience in working with Learning Management Systems (desirable). What you ll be Doing Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for IFG bank reconciliations, ensuring all reconciliations are completed by WD1 each month. - Post all cash transactions for IFG bank account daily, investigating and resolving any outstanding queries by month-end. - Prepare, reconcile, and process the weekly ParentPay reports. - Post transaction fees relating to VMS, Arbor, Bromcom, ParentMail, and ParentPay. - Post manual payments and receipts to the nominal ledger, including HMRC VAT payments, pension contributions, payroll transactions, advances, and imported Accounts Payable direct debit transactions. - Prepare and post journals accurately within Sage. - Responsible for the suspense accounts, ensuring all outstanding items are investigated and resolved promptly. What are we looking for? Essential Skills & Experience - Minimum of 3 year s proven experience in analysing and reconciling Bank accounts. - Strong reconciliation experience with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve variances accurately and efficiently. - Strong understanding of key finance functions, including invoicing, accrual accounting, and double-entry accounting principles. - Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. - Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships and resolve issues professionally at all levels of the organisation. - Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to use initiative and take ownership of responsibilities. - Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs (XLOOKUP knowledge desirable).
