The below job description will outline this position of: Business Development Manager Typically, this person will be responsible for driving new business growth across the Northwest, developing long-term customer relationships, increasing recurring monitoring revenue, and promoting a comprehensive range of fire, security and monitoring solutions to installers and system integrators. Duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be: - Drive new business growth through the acquisition of new installer and system integrator accounts. - Increase product sales and recurring monitoring revenue across the region. - Generate self-sourced sales opportunities through networking, referrals, canvassing and industry events. - Develop existing customer accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. - Promote a range of monitoring services including intruder alarm, fire alarm, CCTV monitoring and police response services. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers through regular face-to-face customer meetings. - Manage and maintain sales pipelines using the company CRM system. - Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored customer solutions. - Support customers with the onboarding and transition of monitored services. - Promote integrated hardware and monitoring solutions while keeping customers informed of new products and service enhancements. Qualifications and requirements for the Business Development Manager: - Proven experience in a Business Development, Field Sales or Account Management role within the Fire & Security industry. - Strong customer relationship management and business development skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities. - Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail. - Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and CRM systems. - Full UK driving licence.
