    - Performance based bonus - Hybrid working 3 days a week in the office - Excellent training and development opportunities We're looking for an Account Manager to join a small, supportive sales and marketing team within a well-established technology business operating in the scientific and research sector. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who wants genuine variety - a role that's 70% account management and 30% marketing support, with scope to shape which direction you grow in. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of reseller accounts across the UK and US (with European accounts joining your patch over time), building relationships, spotting opportunities for growth, and making sure your partners have everything they need to succeed. Alongside this, you'll get stuck into marketing projects, from event organisation to content and research, depending on where your strengths and interests lie. They are an SME with an amazing culture: a genuinely happy team who believe in their values and the vision of the business. You won't be micromanaged, but you also won't be thrown in the deep end: onboarding is thorough, the team is close, and they want to help you grow into whatever direction suits you best. The products are technical, used in life sciences, so you need to be comfortable working with technical products. If you have some experience in sales but want something that you can really get your teeth into, please get in touch! What you'll get - A solid three-month onboarding programme, with time spent across different teams so you understand how the whole business fits together - Hands-on product training, building up gradually from the basics - Access to structured external sales and account management training courses - A close-knit, supportive team who won't leave you to figure things out alone - Flexibility in how the role develops - towards a full-time account management path, or broader exposure to marketing and commercial projects - A manager who gives you space to work independently, backed by a team that has your back when you need it What we're looking for - At least a year's experience in a sales, account management or similar commercial role - a placement year or customer-facing experience during study counts - Comfortable talking to customers by phone, video and in person - Organised, proactive, and happy managing multiple priorities - Good attention to detail, with an interest in creative problem-solving - Comfortable in a technical environment - you don't need a science background, but you should be curious enough to learn how the products work - Willing and able to travel, including occasional international trips Interested? We'd love to hear from you - apply today!
