    Greys Specialist Recruitment are partnering with a well-established, award-winning testing services business based in Warrington to recruit an Inbound Sales Representative . Following a record financial year and continued growth, the business is looking to strengthen its Direct-to-Consumer sales team. This is a genuine warm inbound sales role . Customers are already interested in the services and will either call directly or submit an online enquiry. There is no cold calling but you will still be expected to take ownership of the conversation, understand what the customer needs and convert enquiries into sales. The services can be sensitive and sometimes complex, so this role will suit someone who knows how to sell without being overly pushy. Someone who can ask the right questions, explain products clearly and build trust quickly. The Role You ll join a small, high-performing consumer sales team handling a high volume of inbound enquiries, with the team regularly dealing with 80+ inbound calls per day. You ll be responsible for: - Handling inbound calls and online enquiries from prospective customers - Understanding customer requirements and recommending the most appropriate service - Converting warm enquiries into sales - Following up leads that do not convert on the first interaction - Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell where appropriate - Managing your own pipeline through Salesforce - Working towards individual sales targets, KPIs and call quality standards - Maintaining accurate customer records and completing relevant administration - Providing a professional, consultative and empathetic customer experience - Developing a strong understanding of the company s products and services What We re Looking For We re looking for someone with proven telephone-based sales experience who is comfortable working in a target-driven environment. You don t need to have worked within testing or healthcare previously. What matters is your ability to have quality conversations with customers, understand their requirements and confidently take them through to a sale. You ll ideally have: - Previous experience in inbound sales, telesales, inside sales or a customer-focused sales environment - A consultative approach to selling, with strong questioning and listening skills - Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs - The confidence to handle sensitive or complex customer conversations professionally - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Experience using a CRM system; Salesforce would be advantageous - Good organisation and attention to detail - A commercial mindset and genuine motivation to earn commission - Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Experience within telecoms, financial services, insurance, regulated services, healthcare or another complex inbound sales environment would be particularly relevant. Working across commercial, civil engineering and residential construction projects, they partner with contractors, engineers and specifiers throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of structural waterproofing products who enjoys providing expert advice, building customer relationships and supporting sales from an office-based environment. The Role As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical guidance over the phone and at the trade counter while recommending the most suitable products and solutions for each project. Working closely with customers and supply partners, you'll prepare quotations, respond to technical enquiries and identify opportunities to generate additional business, all while delivering an exceptional level of customer service. Key Responsibilities - Provide technical sales support via telephone and face-to-face at the trade counter. - Advise customers on structural waterproofing systems and associated construction products. - Prepare quotations and recommend practical, compliant solutions. - Liaise with suppliers regarding technical information and pricing. - Identify sales opportunities and maintain accurate records within the CRM/ERP system. - Support customers across a range of specialist products, including waterproofing membranes, cavity drain systems, liquid-applied waterproofing, damp proofing, ground gas protection, concrete repair systems and pumping solutions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers and specifiers. - Manage daily trade counter enquiries while delivering a high standard of technical support. About You To be successful in this role, you'll have: - A minimum of five years' experience within the construction industry. - Strong technical knowledge of structural waterproofing systems. - Experience working within a trade counter or technical sales environment. - The ability to confidently provide technical advice both over the phone and face-to-face. - Strong IT skills, including experience using CRM and ERP systems (NetSuite experience would be advantageous). - The ability to commute to the company's Tonbridge office on a daily basis. - CSSW accreditation (desirable but not essential). - A full UK driving licence.
