The role As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and efficient financial processing across a broad range of finance activities. Working as part of the Healthcare Management Accounts team and reporting into the Head of Healthcare Finance, you will help ensure the integrity of the company s financial records while supporting the continuous improvement of finance processes. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve the way work is completed. You will embrace new technologies, including AI-assisted tools and automation, to reduce manual effort and improve the quality and efficiency of finance operations. What you ll be doing Financial Operations - Prepare and process monthly financial journals accurately and on time. - Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving reconciling items promptly. - Perform month-end activities in accordance with the Finance Operations close timetable. - Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and supported by appropriate documentation. - Maintain high standards of financial control and compliance with internal policies. - Support the preparation of information required for internal and external audits. Processing Responsibilities Undertake processing activities across a range of finance operations, including but not limited to: - Balance sheet reconciliations - Overseas trial balances and cashbooks - Payroll postings - Capitalised salaries - VAT returns - Intercompany transactions - Fixed asset accounting - Credit card and Caxton card reconciliations - Bad debt provisions and write-offs - External content accruals - India finance postings - Other finance operations activities as required Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to simplify and improve finance processes. - Support the implementation of automation and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual processing. - Contribute ideas that improve accuracy, efficiency and controls. - Assist with testing and embedding new processes and systems. Collaboration - Build effective working relationships with colleagues across Finance and the wider business. - Respond promptly to queries from internal stakeholders. - Contribute positively to team objectives and a culture of continuous improvement. The role The Marketing Executive will develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote GlobalData in-person events, including conferences, roundtables, breakfast briefings, and awards. You will coordinate end-to-end event marketing, managing the website updates, building and deploying campaigns, tracking event performance and analytics, liaising with internal stakeholders and partners, and supporting on-site delivery. It is a busy schedule, often running multiple events concurrently , with regular stakeholder calls and tight deadlines. What you ll be doing - Planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns across channels and timelines - Writing and editing marketing copy, communications, and promotional materials - Drive delegate registrations and sponsor acquisition through targeted outreach - Managing use of marketing automation platform and CRM systems HubSpot/Salesforce) - Regularly tracking event registrations, attendance, email performance and engagement - Liaising with media partners and sponsors regarding event marketing, branding, assets, lead delivery expectations, and timelines - Working cross-functionally with event teams (Production, Operations, Delegate Sales and Sponsorship) to support event delivery - Post-event follow-up (thank-you emails, surveys, content distribution, lead routing, internal debriefs and learnings) What we re looking for - Experience in B2B events or conference marketing - Excellent written communication: clear, direct, audience-aware copy - An ability to think-out-of-the-box and bring fresh ideas - Commercially minded with experience of working to achieve targets. - Intelligent, quick-witted and able to use own initiative - Practical experience with marketing automation and CRM systems - Proofreading skills Excellent Attention to Detail - Excellent oral communication skills at all levels and stakeholder management skills - Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks - Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines - Works will in a team as well as on their own.
