    Our client is looking for a QA Tester who will be responsible for validating new features, enhancements, integrations, and bug fixes within our EVOX platform and associated applications. Working closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and end users, you will ensure that software releases meet business requirements and maintain the highest quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, a methodical approach to testing, and experience working within Agile software development environments using Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities Functional Testing Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases. Perform manual testing of web applications developed in C# and .NET Core. Validate functionality against business and technical requirements. Identify, document, and track software defects. Azure DevOps & Agile Delivery Work within Azure DevOps to manage test activities and track defects. Create and maintain test cases linked to User Stories, Features, and Epics. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects efficiently. Quality Assurance Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing prior to release. Ensure software releases satisfy acceptance criteria and quality standards. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Assist in creating and maintaining QA processes and standards. Documentation & Communication Produce clear and concise test evidence and defect reports. Provide regular feedback on software quality and release readiness. Contribute to release notes and quality reporting. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and coverage. Support the introduction of test automation where appropriate. Contribute ideas to improve software usability, reliability, and user experience. Required Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in a Software QA Tester, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance role. Experience testing web-based business applications. Experience using Azure DevOps for managing defects, work items, and test activities. Understanding of Agile software development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to create structured test plans and test cases. Experience conducting: Functional Testing Regression Testing System Testing User Acceptance Testing Support Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical Knowledge Understanding of C# and .NET Core application architecture. Knowledge of web technologies including: HTML CSS JavaScript Understanding of REST APIs and API testing. Familiarity with SQL databases and basic query writing. Experience testing role-based access control and authentication processes. Desirable Skills Experience with automated testing tools. Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks. Experience testing Azure-hosted applications. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Experience testing integrations with third-party systems. Knowledge of security and performance testing principles.     Finance Assistant

    Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their well established team in Inverness. As the Finance Assistant you will support both the finance and payroll functions. The role will involve processing purchase invoices, credit notes, supplier statement reconciliations, company credit card reports and sales invoices, as well as accurately reviewing and processing weekly payroll timesheets for temporary and contract workers. The postholder will liaise with suppliers, clients, workers and internal teams to resolve queries, maintain accurate records, and ensure finance and payroll deadlines are met efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Match, code and process purchase invoices and credit notes against valid purchase orders. Complete supplier statement reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner. Process company credit card reports, ensuring all expenditure is recorded correctly and complies with company policy. Raise sales invoices accurately and within agreed timescales. Respond to supplier queries professionally and work with internal teams to resolve issues promptly. Liaise with Finance Managers to obtain invoice authorisation where required. Receive, review and process weekly timesheets for temporary and contract workers. Check timesheets for accuracy, completeness and appropriate client authorisation prior to processing. Input hours, overtime, holiday pay, adjustments and other payroll information accurately onto the payroll system. Liaise with consultants, clients and workers to resolve missing, incorrect or disputed timesheets. Ensure payroll deadlines are met and workers are paid accurately and on time. Assist with payroll queries from workers, clients and internal departments in a professional and timely manner. Support the wider finance and payroll team with reporting, reconciliations and general administrative tasks as required. Follow company policies, financial controls and relevant payroll procedures at all times. Skills and Experience Previous experience in accounts administration, payroll, timesheet processing, recruitment administration or a high-volume finance/admin environment would be preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to process information accurately and efficiently. Good numerical skills and confidence working with payroll data, hours, rates and adjustments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with clients, workers and internal colleagues. Ability to prioritise workload, work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
