    Consumer Duty Product Consultant Remote 6-Month Outside IR35 Contract (UK) Location: Fully remote Contract: 6 Months intially IR35: Outside IR35 Day Rate: Competitive We're supporting a fast-growing FCA-regulated FinTech / DFM that is looking to engage an experienced Compliance / Product Consultant to implement the firms Consumer Duty and Product Governance function. This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with Product, Investment, Distribution, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure Consumer Duty requirements continue to be embedded across investment products and services. Key Responsibilities - Conduct Fair Value Assessments (FVAs) - Review and update Target Market Assessments (TMAs) , ensuring alignment with Consumer Duty and PROD requirements. - Support Consumer Duty Outcome Testing , including methodology design, MI analysis and reporting. - Produce high-quality documentation for Board and Investment Committee reporting. - Develop and enhance Consumer Duty MI frameworks and governance processes. - Work closely with Product, Investment, Risk & Compliance and Distribution teams to gather evidence and validate assessments. - Ensure all documentation is robust, evidence-based and compliant with FCA expectations. Required Experience - Strong experience within an FCA-regulated investment or wealth management business . - Proven experience delivering Consumer Duty initiatives. - Hands-on experience completing Fair Value Assessments and Target Market Assessments . - Strong understanding of Consumer Duty (PRIN 2A) and PROD regulations.
