    Control & Automation Engineer £50000 - £55000 P/A - depending on experience Southampton Full time Permanent Are you an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer looking to take ownership of full project lifecycles, from concept and design through to commissioning and client handover? Attega Group is proud to be partnering with a leading engineering solutions provider to recruit an Automation & Controls Engineer to join their growing Projects & Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong PLC, HMI/SCADA, and electrical design experience who enjoys delivering bespoke process systems and turnkey automation solutions across a variety of industries. In return, is a salary of up to £55,000 P/A , depending on experience. As an Automation & Controls Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Designing electrical control panels and producing electrical schematics. - Developing PLC and HMI/SCADA software solutions to meet customer requirements. - Producing User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Design Specifications. - Programming, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding PLC and control systems. - Conducting factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning activities. - Designing and integrating complete automation solutions including VFDs, instrumentation, and process equipment. - Producing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacture and project costing. - Attending client and supplier meetings to define project scope and technical requirements. - Supporting the sales team with technical proposals and quotations. - Producing technical documentation including CE/UKCA/UKNI/UL compliance packs, SOPs, and maintenance documentation. - Supporting research and development of new products and process systems. - Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful delivery against programme requirements. The Ideal Candidate - BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. - Proven experience designing and delivering industrial automation projects. - Strong PLC programming experience, particularly Siemens PLCs using TIA Portal. - Experience developing HMI and SCADA systems. - Ability to test, commission, and fault-find electrical control systems up to 415VAC. - Experience producing electrical schematics using Autodesk Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software. - Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings. - Strong understanding of industrial process systems. - Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. - Full UK Driving Licence. Highly Desirable - Experience with Mitsubishi, Schneider, Allen Bradley, or Rockwell PLC platforms. - Food & Beverage, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, or Manufacturing industry experience. - Experience delivering turnkey process systems. - Familiarity with CE, UKCA, UKNI, or UL compliance requirements. The main purpose of this Senior Business Development Manager role is to build new relationships with new potential clients and secure long-term contracts. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £60,000 plus uncapped commission depending on experience.     Sales Executive - Location: Wimbledon - Salary: Up to £40,000 P/A + uncapped commission - Contract: Full Time Permanent About the Role: Are you a driven sales professional with experience in premium or luxury sales for a catering, equipment, furniture or product hire company? Do you thrive on building long-term client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering commercially successful solutions? We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join a growing business in London. Reporting to the Director, you will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth across London's premium events market by developing high-value client relationships, converting profitable opportunities, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to event delivery. Key Responsibilities : - Drive profitable revenue growth through proactive business development, account management and strategic relationship building. - Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across luxury event planners, premium caterers, venues, corporate clients and hospitality partners. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers, becoming a trusted commercial partner for clients. - Generate and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, networking, referrals, email campaigns and market research. - Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations and commercial solutions that meet customer requirements and company pricing guidelines. - Represent the business professionally during client meetings, showroom appointments, venue visits and industry networking events. You will have some experience working within premium events, luxury hospitality, catering equipment hire, furniture hire or a similar, with a proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and consistently achieve revenue targets. Essential Skills & Experience: - Previous experience within catering equipment hire, furniture hire, luxury event catering, hospitality or premium events. - Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. - Strong understanding of London's premium events market. - Existing industry network highly desirable. - Experience managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract conversion.
