    Our client is a leading Builders Merchant providing Building Supplies to a mixture of Housebuilders, Housing Associations, Contractors, and end users. An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Busy Builders Merchant branch in North London region. Our client is increasing the headcount of their sales office and is looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join their successful team. The role involves building strong customer relationships to increase the sales and profitability of the business. This can be achieved by targeting low-spending customers, lapsed accounts, and new business prospects. You may also have some customers who you are already working with and wish to continue working with at this branch. Sales will be made via telephone, email enquiries, and face-to-face over the trade counter. Due to the nature of the business, experience working within a Builders Merchant is essential, as having a strong understanding of the products and pricing is essential to the role. The salary for this is negotiable depending on experience, and those who can bring a customer ledger with them will be able to command a higher salary than those without. The role is Monday-Friday and does involve alternative Saturday mornings working alongside the Monday-Friday.
