    Part-time Senior Bookkeeper

    We're excited to be working on the behalf of a well-established, friendly company based in the Farlington area, who are looking for a new Senior Bookkeeper to take over the general accounts function. The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Sales ledger - Purchase ledger - Banking - Reconciliations - VAT returns - End to end payroll (Sage Payroll) - Monthly management accounts - Use of Intact software (training will be given) This role is available due to a longstanding employee planning for retirement, so a long handover will be given. The company are looking for someone to work circa 20-25 hours per week and can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread, however would ideally like if someone could start on 2 days a week during the handover period, if possible. You will need strong experience undertaking a range of general bookkeeping duties, and it would be beneficial if you have experience for sole responsibility of accounts within a small company, although this is not essential.

    Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting processes. Duties - Record and maintain financial transactions using Sage - Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments - Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts - Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required - Support month-end and year-end closing procedures - Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail This role is offered on a part-time basis, working 5 hours per day, either over 3, 4 or 5 days per week. This is an office based position, no remote working is available.

    We're excited to be working on the behalf of a well-established Construction company, looking for a new Operations Manager to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be working in a hands on position, undertaking a range of duties including: - Managing staff diaries including co-ordinating deliveries and engineering works - Ordering and receiving spare parts, including reading parts manuals to deal with parts orders / ensuring correct parts are ordered - Liaising with customers on phones, taking orders or directing issues to correct person - Overseeing weekly schedules to manage rental fleet logistics and deliveries of sales equipment - Management of small fleet of vehicles including servicing, MOT, Tax etc - Other general tasks as needed, getting involved with general day to day operations to ensure the company is running smoothly This role is full-time and office based. You will ideally be computer literate, confident using Microsoft Office and can pick up new software (the company uses Syrinx rental software, and Sage Accounts software but training can be given on these). Previous experience working within general operations management / administrative duties would be beneficial. Any previous experience working within construction could be useful.
