Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor

Gallagher Bassett, a global leader in risk and claims management, seeks a Claims Supervisor - Workers Compensation. In this role, you will lead a team of claims adjusters handling complex workers compensation files, ensuring timely, accurate investigation, reserving, and resolution. You will coach staff, monitor workloads, review litigation strategies, and ensure compliance with state regulations, client service standards, and company best practices. You'll collaborate with clients, medical providers, and internal partners, analyze claim trends, support audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement in outcomes and service quality in a professional, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers compensation claims adjusters and support staff

• Oversee investigation, evaluation, reserving, and resolution of workers compensation claims

• Ensure regulatory, legal, and client-specific compliance on all claim files

• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to the claims team

• Review complex and litigated claims, guiding strategy and settlement decisions

• Monitor workloads, quality, and timeliness using reports and audits

• Collaborate with clients, medical providers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

• Analyze claim trends and outcomes to recommend process improvements

• Support client reporting, stewardship meetings, and audit preparation
