Senior Corporate Tax Specialist - Manufacturing
Job Description
American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Senior Tax Specialist to lead complex federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning for its North American manufacturing operations. In this role, you will prepare and review corporate income, sales/use, and property tax filings, support ASC 740 tax provision, respond to audits, and analyze tax impacts of manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D activities. You will research tax law, recommend planning strategies, enhance controls and processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an innovation-driven, quality-focused culture.
Responsibilities

Manage federal, state, and local corporate tax compliance for U.

Prepare and review income, sales/use, and property tax filings

Analyze tax impacts of manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D activities

Support tax provision, forecasting, and audit defense

Research complex tax issues and recommend planning opportunities

Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations on tax-sensitive projects

Ensure adherence to SOX and internal tax controls

Monitor tax law changes impacting the automotive and manufacturing industry

Drive process improvements and automation in tax workflows
