Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - National Security

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Delivery Consultant, National Security to design and implement secure, scalable AWS solutions for U.S. national security customers. You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex cloud engagements, including architecture design, migration, and modernization of mission workloads. Partner with customer and internal stakeholders to assess requirements, build implementation plans, and drive execution using Infrastructure as Code and automation. Ensure compliance with stringent security and governance standards while optimizing performance, resilience, and cost. You will mentor teams, contribute to best practices, and help customers adopt innovative AWS services in fast-paced, high-impact environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure, scalable AWS architectures for national security customers.

• Lead end-to-end implementation, migration, and modernization of mission workloads to AWS.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation to accelerate and standardize deployments.

• Ensure compliance with strict security, regulatory, and governance requirements.

• Optimize solutions for performance, resilience, availability, and cost efficiency.

• Guide customers on AWS best practices, reference architectures, and cloud adoption patterns.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root-cause analysis and remediation.

• Produce high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and design artifacts.

• Mentor customer and internal teams to build AWS skills and delivery capability.
