Lead Mortgage Loan Officer

Generations Home Loans in Seattle, WA is seeking a driven Mortgage Loan Officer to grow production and build a high-performing team. You'll originate purchase and refinance loans, develop referral relationships, and guide borrowers through every step with clear, honest communication. Partner closely with processors and underwriters to deliver smooth, on-time closings. Responsibilities

• Originate and structure residential mortgage loans for purchase and refinance clients

• Prospect, build, and manage a personal pipeline of borrowers and referral partners

• Lead and grow a small team of loan officers or assistants to increase production

• Conduct detailed borrower consultations, gather documentation, and pre-qualify applicants

• Recommend appropriate loan products and explain terms, costs, and timelines clearly

• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and closing agents to ensure on-time closings

• Maintain CRM records, track applications, and follow up through each loan milestone

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor mortgage lending regulations

• Deliver high-touch client service focused on education, transparency, and trust Required Skills
