Commercial Claims Supervisor - Property & Liability

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Commercial Claims Supervisor to lead a team managing complex commercial property and liability claims. In this role, you'll supervise adjusters, review coverage and reserves, authorize settlements, and ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards. You'll handle escalated files, analyze claims data to improve performance, and collaborate with risk, legal, and client service teams. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of commercial claims adjusters handling property and liability claims

• Review, authorize, and approve claim evaluations, settlements, and reserves within authority limits

• Ensure claims handling complies with company policies, regulations, and client service standards

• Partner with risk management and client service teams to improve outcomes and reduce claim costs

• Analyze claims data, trends, and metrics to drive process improvements and performance

• Handle complex or escalated commercial claims and provide technical guidance to staff

• Coordinate training, coaching, and performance reviews for claims team members

• Support client relationships through timely communication and high-quality claim outcomes

• Collaborate with legal, medical, and investigative partners on complex cases
