The Role Working closely with the rest of the Audit team you will take responsibility for planning, leading and completing audit assignments while developing strong relationships with your clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. - Leading audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely. - Preparing and reviewing audit files to a consistently high standard. - Liaising directly with clients throughout the audit process, becoming their trusted day-to-day contact. - Identifying audit and commercial issues and discussing practical solutions with Managers and Partners. - Supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of Audit Juniors and Trainees. - Delivering assignments within agreed budgets and timescales. - Working with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors. - Building long-term client relationships through proactive communication and outstanding client service. About You You will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, or studying towards qualification with strong recent audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
