Job Title

Tax Assistant - P11D / Employment Tax - Sutton Coldfield

Join a dynamic tax team where you'll play a key role in helping clients navigate the complexities of employment taxes and Benefits in Kind.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit P11D forms for employee benefits and expenses.

• Calculate taxable Benefits in Kind (BIKs), including:

• Company cars and fuel

• Private medical insurance

• Interest-free or low-interest loans

• Living accommodation

• Other taxable benefits

• Ensure compliance with HMRC deadlines and legislation.

• Reconcile payroll and benefits data for accurate reporting.

• Assist with P11D(b) calculations and Class 1A National Insurance.

• Liaise with HR, payroll teams, and clients to obtain accurate benefit information.

• Respond to HMRC queries and support compliance reviews.

• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.

• Support personal tax return preparation where required.

Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of UK PAYE and Benefits in Kind taxation.

• Experience preparing or assisting with P11Ds.

• Understanding of HMRC legislation and filing requirements.
