Looking to build on your Part 1 experience with a practice that can support your development? My client is looking for an Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join their team in Bedford. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced architects on a broad range of projects, developing your technical and design skills while gaining exposure across multiple RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities for this Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:

• Assist in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.

• Produce high-quality drawings, visualisations and presentation material to support planning and design proposals.

• Prepare planning application packages and technical drawing information.

• Work closely with architects, consultants and clients to ensure projects progress efficiently.

• Support project teams throughout a range of RIBA work stages.

• Attend client meetings, site visits and design team meetings where required.

• Ensure work complies with UK Building Regulations, planning policies and industry best practice.

• Contribute creative ideas and technical solutions throughout the design process.

Requirements for this Experienced Part 1 Architectural Assistant role:

• RIBA Part 1 qualified with relevant UK practice experience.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

• SketchUp experience is desirable.

• Desirable experience working on Residential projects.

• Good understanding of UK planning policy and Building Regulations.

• Strong design, presentation and communication skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

• Keen to continue professional development towards Part 2 qualification.
