Assistant Management Accountant

Job Title : Assistant Management Accountant Location : Knaresborough Salary : £30,000 - £35,000 per annum Hours : Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a successful and established organisation. Working closely with the Group Management Accountant, you will support a range of finance activities including month end processes, management accounts, reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to develop their accounting career within a supportive team while gaining valuable experience across management accounting. Key Responsibilities of Assistant Management Accountant:

• Support month end processes, including accruals and prepayments.

• Assist with management accounts preparation and financial reporting.

• Maintain accurate financial records and working papers.

• Support purchase ledger and sales ledger activities.

• Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports.

• Maintain asset and lease documentation.

• Assist with year end accounts and audit requirements.

• Analyse financial information to support business improvements.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience within a finance role.

• Good understanding of accounting processes and financial administration.

• Experience with reconciliations and maintaining accurate records.

• Strong IT skills, including Excel and finance systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
