    Job Description

    Architect Chorley Up to 45,000

    Aztrum is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Architectural practice in Chorley that is entering an exciting period of growth. Specialising in Healthcare Architecture, this award-winning practice has built an outstanding reputation for delivering innovative projects across the NHS and private healthcare sectors, including hospitals, mental health facilities, primary care centres and specialist healthcare environments.

    Due to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to welcome a talented Architect who is keen to take on greater responsibility, contribute to meaningful Healthcare projects and continue developing their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

    Key Responsibilities for this Architect role:

    • Lead the design and technical delivery of Healthcare projects across all RIBA work stages

    • Produce accurate, detailed technical drawings and coordinated BIM models using Revit

    • Prepare and coordinate planning applications, Building Regulations submissions and technical packages

    • Work closely with NHS Trusts, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery

    • Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations, Healthcare Technical Memoranda (HTMs) and Health Building Notes (HBNs)

    • Attend client meetings, design workshops, site visits and project reviews, taking an active role in project coordination

    • Contribute to BIM coordination and maintain high technical standards across live projects

    • Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture Key Requirements for this Architect role:

    • ARB-registered Architect

    • Strong proficiency in Revit is essential

    • Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning processes and technical detailing

    • Experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages

    • Previous Healthcare experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of HTMs and HBNs advantageous

    • Confident communicator with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

    • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving ability

    • Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
