My client is an ambitious, modern accountancy Practice looking for a Qualified Senior Client Accountant to take ownership of a varied portfolio and play a key role in our continued growth. If you re ready for a role with real influence, direct partner access, and genuine progression, this is it.

You ll manage your own clients across accounts, tax, and advisory work, reviewing junior output and ensuring high-quality delivery. You ll build strong client relationships, streamline processes, and help develop the next generation of talent within the team.

• Client portfolio management accounts prep, tax returns, reviews, and advisory

• Workflow oversight planning, deadlines, and quality control

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

• ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.

• UK Practice experience within an accountancy firm is preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge across accounts, corporation tax, VAT, and personal tax.

• Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients independently.

• Strong working knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting systems.

• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable

Experience using AI, Dext, Engager, TaxCalc, or similar practice software.

Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.

Exposure to management accounts and advisory-focused services.

Knowledge of funding, forecasting, or business planning support.
