    Job Description

    Our client is a leading provider of integrated cyber and physical security solutions, delivering critical security infrastructure for Scottish Power . Due to continued growth and the award of new contracts, they are looking to recruit experienced Security Installation Engineers to join their expanding team.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile utility infrastructure projects across the Central Belt, installing and maintaining industry-leading security systems.

    The Role

    As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems across Scottish Power sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install electric perimeter fencing, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.

    • Carry out maintenance and fault-finding on bespoke security systems.

    • Identify, report, and rectify defects and installation snags.

    • Manage van stock, including replenishment and regular stock checks.

    • Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions.

    • Demonstrate completed systems to clients and end users.

    • Arrange PAT testing and calibration of company-issued equipment.

    • Complete asset tagging and maintain accurate installation records.

    About You

    To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems and be able to demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following disciplines:

    • Access Control

    • CCTV

    • Intruder Alarms

    • Electric Perimeter Fencing Essential Requirements

    • Experience working in a similar Security Installation Engineer role.

    • Knowledge of Gallagher Security Systems , particularly access control and/or perimeter protection.

    • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.

    • Full UK driving licence.
