Lone wolf, or aspirant founder of a new branch for one of the UK's fastest growing independents? Whether your ambition is to lead a team, or simply have more control over your day to day activities, this is a superb opportunity to forge an excellent career with perhaps the country's most exciting broker. Headed by a young management team who have clearly proven their entrepreneurial credentials already, this firm boasts a flat-management structure and an incredibly open, transparent culture - for example, from Administrators to the MD, all colleagues have access to everyone's emails. They also have a robust back-office support function, including a talented team of Account Handlers. Indeed, the MD describes the situation as, "we're over-resourced, and deliberately so." With this in mind, you can see how this firm's reputation for delivering outstanding client service is so richly deserved. Having enjoyed a sustained period of impressive, organic growth, the management team has continued to invest profits back into the business, and has now amassed a significant war chest to expand into new territories. This means they can commit to employing high calibre Account Executives without burdening them with punitive new business targets whilst covenants are observed. Whatever your longer-term aspirations, you will benefit from the support of the Directors to ensure you have everything you need to ensure your ambitions are hit; whether that's being a fully-remote Account Executive with a fantastic work life balance, or establishing a new team in your location and having a real say in the future direction of this business. Whilst this business is certainly geared up for remote-working, and you will have a dedicated team of Brokers and Account Handlers to support you, it is essential that you are an experienced Account Executive who is able to build a profitable portfolio without direct, daily supervision. As such, you must be a proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic who is prepared to 'put in the hard yards' in the early years of your employment. Whatever your ambitions, you will be supported in creating a business plan that clearly roadmaps the route ahead and support needed, but it is essential that you have firm ideas about how you will establish a portfolio that generates a longer-term profit. In return, you will receive a generous basic salary that competes with even the better paying national and global broking houses. Even more impressively, you will receive a lucrative bonus that pays 10% on all new business, and a perpetual 5% on renewals. Crucially, the 10% rate also applies to additional lines sold to existing clientele. In addition, you will receive an impressive range of company benefits.
