Benefits and Package for a Telesales Executive: - Salary : £28,000 per annum plus performance-related commission - OTE : Around £40,000 for top performers - Hours : 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Flexible working hours between 6.00am and 8.00pm, with no core hours - Contract : Permanent - Location : Cardiff city centre, fully office-based - Benefits package worth more than £7,000 - Free city-centre parking - Two paid weeks off over Christmas - Bupa medical and dental cover following probation - Enhanced pension - Additional leave for your birthday and work anniversary Key Responsibilities of a Telesales Executive: - Making outbound calls to prospective business customers using company-provided data - Navigating gatekeepers and engaging relevant business decision-makers - Understanding prospective customers' needs through consultative conversations - Clearly explaining the company's services and handling routine objections - Managing a multi-stage sales pipeline from initial contact through to close - Planning and completing effective follow-up activity - Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline stages and next actions - Working towards individual activity, conversion and sales targets - Providing realistic pipeline forecasts and completing high-quality handovers once a sale has been secured Key Skills and Experience of a Telesales Executive: - Previous outbound sales, business development or direct prospecting experience - Experience making cold calls and reaching business decision-makers - Proven ability to manage the complete sales process from first contact through to close - Confidence managing longer, multi-contact sales opportunities - A consultative and professional approach to selling - Strong objection-handling, communication and relationship-building skills - Experience working towards individual sales and performance targets - Good pipeline management and follow-up discipline - Accurate and confident use of CRM systems - Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to build credibility quickly Experience within partner acquisition, professional services, marketplaces or lead-generation services would be beneficial but is not essential.
