3-6 Month Contract Hybrid Working (1/2 days from office) 225- 275 per Day (Flexibility for the Right Person)

Gleeson Recruitment Group are exclusively supporting a growing and ambitious business to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-6 month assignment, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful SME undergoing an exciting period of growth. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting the wider finance function.

We're looking for a hands-on finance professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of core management accounting activities from day one.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts

• Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Monthly sales reporting and performance analysis

• Supporting financial analysis and reporting requirements Whilst the role is primarily focused on management accounting and reporting, we're looking for someone with a flexible and collaborative approach who is happy to support wider finance activities when required.

About You

We're open to both qualified and qualified-by-experience finance professionals. More important than qualifications is the ability to perform the role effectively and quickly.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role

• Strong month-end accounting experience

• Experience preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations

• Confidence producing and analysing management information

• Strong Excel skills

• A proactive, hands-on approach

• The ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced SME environment
