IFA Administrator - (Leeds) Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 DOE Full-time On-Site
About
A growing Chartered independent financial planning practice in the Leeds area is seeking an organised and proactive IFA Administrator to support its advice team. The firm works with individuals, families and business owners across retirement planning, wealth management, protection and estate planning.
The team uses modern technology and streamlined processes to deliver an efficient and highly personal service to clients. As a small, collaborative business, they value attention to detail, professionalism and a people-first approach to financial planning.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting advisers and paraplanners by ensuring client cases progress smoothly and efficiently. From new business processing and client servicing to liaising with providers and maintaining accurate records, you'll help deliver a first-class client experience at every stage of the advice journey.
What you'll be doing

Preparing and processing new business applications across pensions, investments and protection products

Assisting advisers and paraplanners with the administration of client cases from initial enquiry through to completion

Maintaining and updating client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date

Producing valuation reports, review packs and supporting documentation for client meetings

Liaising with product providers, platforms and third parties to obtain information and progress cases

Monitoring and chasing outstanding business to ensure cases move through efficiently

Handling client queries professionally and providing excellent day-to-day support

Ensuring all records, correspondence and processes meet FCA and internal compliance requirements

Using back-office systems and provider platforms to maintain workflow and case progress

Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks and helping to improve operational processes Requirements

Previous administration experience within financial services, wealth management or an IFA practice

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel

A professional and client-focused approach

Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload Preferable Skills

Experience supporting Independent Financial Advisers and Paraplanners

Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products

Experience using financial services platforms and CRM systems such as Intelliflo, CashCalc, Voyant

Understanding of FCA regulations and financial planning processes
