Financial Planning Analyst - Private Wealth - Sheffield - £34,000-£42,000 Location: Sheffield (office-based) Salary: £34,000-£42,000 Role: Financial Planning Analyst Environment: Chartered, multi-disciplinary private-wealth group

Role Overview You'll support advisers and clients across new business, client reviews, technical work and ongoing servicing. This role blends technical analysis , paraplanning tasks , client administration , and end to end support across private wealth, pensions, investments, tax planning and estate planning.
Key Responsibilities

New business: evaluating client objectives, due diligence , research, technical calculations (pensions, CGT , IHT , income tax), producing suitability reports, overseeing illustrations/applications, monitoring pipeline, client fee checks

Client reviews: pre-meeting analysis, post-meeting completion work, producing review letters

Client admin: maintaining Intelligent Office records, updating client data, obtaining provider information, liaising with clients/providers

General support: handling provider/client correspondence, working closely with managers and advisers, actioning technical and admin requests Requirements

4+ years financial services experience

Strong FCA regulation & compliance knowledge

Senior admin or paraplanning background

Part or fully Diploma qualified (Level 4)

Strong communication, organisation and work ethic

Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively Desirable

Experience with private wealth, business owners, corporate clients, trusts, group schemes

Client-facing experience

Desire to work towards Chartered status
