Financial Controller

We're partnering with a growing, multi-site business to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead the finance function, manage and develop a high-performing team, and play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

The Role This is a broad, hands-on position, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to influence the wider business. Responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the finance team.

• Delivering accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.

• Maintaining robust financial controls and ensuring statutory compliance.

• Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-making.

• Driving process improvements and enhancing finance systems.

About You We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or similar leadership role.

You'll also bring:

• Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.

• Experience leading and developing finance teams.

• A commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Strong budgeting, forecasting and business partnering experience.

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.

• Experience within a multi-site or multi-entity environment.
